Drive

I can't believe Fox canceled Drive after only two weeks. This is Firefly all over again. At least they showed the Drive episodes in the right order instead of showing the pilot last like they did with Firefly.

Storms and Twitter

Some severe weather blew through here last night. We were lucky, it didn't do much to us at the apartment.


I've been kind of addicted to twitter lately. I actually dreamt about it this last weekend. The only thing that irritates me is the people who use it as a message board or instant messenger. The deal is to write what you're doing. Not sit there and chat back and forth about Heroes (the stupidest show ever). Needless to say, I dropped those people off my friends list faster than you can say "show me the money".

Long Way Home

Season 8 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is starting out great. If you're a Buffy fan, you should be picking this series up. It feels good to be buying comics again. I was worried I forgot how to read them. :-)

Robocop

Ok, so I'm sitting here and I jump into iTunes to look for something when I see that they've recently added Robocop to their list of movies. If you scroll down, you can see that I just watched those movies on tv last week. That's freaky!!

Blades of Glory

We went and saw Blades of Glory last yesterday. We're behind on our movies, but that's ok. I can wait for TMNT on dvd.

TV Is Evil?

TV is my friend. At least that's what he keeps saying into my ear as I watch...

I watched most of Robocop 3 on tv tonight. Yes, I'm choosing to blog about a 14 year old movie than mention the tornado and hail that swept through here. What's your point? Anyway, the third movie in the Robocop trilogy was utter crap. As if there was a possibility that it might be good. It does prove that some actors have to wade through a lot of shit before they "make it".












Fortunately, The Soup came on and made me laugh. How funny is this show?!?! Joel McHale wasn't that funny on Thank God You're Here, but he's a riot on The Soup. Not that TGYH is that great anyway...but still.

Movies
I watched Robocop 2 on tv tonight. It was so bad it's good. I loved the first one, and I vaguely remember seeing the 2nd one once. What I didn't know is that it was originally written by Frank Miller. And directed by Irvin Kershner, of Empire Strikes Back fame. Pretty crazy shit.












Games
Phoenix, KBB and I tried to play some Gears of War tonight, but XBL was being a bitch. I don't know if it was them or me or what. I installed the latest version of ZoneAlarm, but that shouldn't bother my connection to XBL. Hopefully it will work itself out by tomorrow. Either that or it's bye bye firewall.

We went and visited Ethan yesterday for Easter. He got a lot of stuff. My parents got him a Spider-Man easter basket with a backpack and stuff. We found some cool Easter Hot Wheels. They were Eggs-clusives!

Sick as a Dog

Christ on a bike, I've been so sick this weekend. Caught some kind of bacterial infection. Knocked me on my ass. I haven't done anything but sleep and poop. And not the good kind of poop, either.
