120 GB
The new Xbox 360 Elite was announced today. It has a 120GB hard and HDMI output. I could give a shit less about the HDMI. It's that big hard drive I want. It'll be $179, which is a bit pricey, but maybe someone will see fit to get it for me for Christmas.

Comics
My dad bought me the second issue of the Gunslinger series by Stephen King and the first issue of the Buffy The Vampire Slayer comic. The Buffy comic picks up where the last season ended, so it's like having a new season of Buffy. Feels like heroin in my veins!

I signed up for Twitter today. Not sure what it's all about or if I will use it, but what the hell.

Boss Witch
Is she smelling her armpit? It looks like it, which is funny considering the game stinks. I played a level last night where the boss battle had me on top of a large plane (747?) fighting off a huge flying thing. And yes, we were flying. Anyway, it kept shooting huge eyeballs at the plane, which would attach and start eating the plane. They looked like sperm.

Bullet Witch
I made this video.
Bullet Witch is not what I would call a good game. There's no real strategy. The hit detection is pretty horrendous. The graphics are decent and the spell casting is kinda cool. I was hoping to be able to run through it and get the achievements, but I set the difficulty to Hard, which was a mistake. Anyway, it's a good rental. Chicks with guns are hot.

TV and the Arcade
I've been watching The Naked Trucker and T-Bones Show. It's pretty funny. I didn't know it had been around for like 10 years. And the guy that plays T-Bones was on SNL back in '95. Crazy.
We've also gotten into the show Dirt on FX. Courtney Cox is really good in it. And hot!
And finally, I downloaded Worms for the Xbox Live Arcade last night and I gotta tell you, I wasn't impressed. Everybody says it's so good, but I don't really get it. It was snoozeville up in there.

Obsession:Crackdown
I love this game. And there seems to be no shortage of cool things to do in it.
Also, Ctrl+Alt+Del did a cool comic strip on it. Good stuff.

Uncle Gamer Radio
First, I want to thank everyone that left me comments and sent me messages while this whole drama unfolded. I've talked with Vicious, and we are cool. We decided that, while we could both have handled the situation differently, we still want to remain friends. I am going to stay in the community of UG, but not continue as a contributor. There are talks about bringing GameTalk back, among other things, and I'm looking forward to that.
Anyway, let's put all this crap behind us and get back to what really matters. The games!

An Open Letter
Because this will be removed if I post it on their site, I am posting it here. I can say whatever I want on my blog.
This is an open letter to the Uncle Gamer website. They have apparently taken the pussy way out by slowly removing me from everything instead of letting me know what's up.
If anyone has any questions, you can leave a comment on this post.

"Since my post has been deleted off the forums, let me put in my resignation from the Uncle Gamer website right here. Of course, I don't know for sure this will reach anyone on the publishers list since I've been unsubscribed to the ugpublishers mailing list. I appreciate that.
Apparently I have not been doing a good enough job for these guys and they decided to slowly phaze me out. I have no idea what I did or did not do, because I got zero feedback on anything (except a spelling error the other day). I can only assume it's because I tried to inject a little comedy into the show. I was active in the forums (even after my administrator rights were taken away), and I posted news on a regular basis. Maybe it wasn't good enough. Who the hell knows. And who the hell cares.
My point is, if there was something wrong, I never heard about it. All someone had to do was be an adult and point out something or say "hey, this isn't working out." Bam, done. How hard is it to type out an e-mail or send a message on skype?
Anyway, it was fun while it lasted. Enjoy "the next level".
Rane (Gemini Ace)"
