My e-mail was read on the Xbox360 Fancast this week. I criticized Knuckles Dawson for talking to fast and saying FTW too much. I have to admit I was a little drunk when I sent that. I hope he didn't take it wrong. It's hard to convey sarcasm in an e-mail. He's obviously a winner.

There's Doin's a Transpirin'!
I downloaded and played on the new Gears of War maps last night with KBB7769. Good times. Pure pwnage was handed out...by him. The new maps are pretty sweet. Worth $10? I guess. I paid it since I didn't want to wait till September for them to become free.

Music, Movies, and Games
Time for a marathon post! :-p
Music
I've been listening to the new album by Say Anything called ...to be a real boy. I'm really liking the quirky sense of humor and rawk-itude these guys have.

Movies
I watched Robocop 2 on tv tonight. It was so bad it's good. I loved the first one, and I vaguely remember seeing the 2nd one once. What I didn't know is that it was originally written by Frank Miller. And directed by Irvin Kershner, of Empire Strikes Back fame. Pretty crazy shit.

Games
Phoenix, KBB and I tried to play some Gears of War tonight, but XBL was being a bitch. I don't know if it was them or me or what. I installed the latest version of ZoneAlarm, but that shouldn't bother my connection to XBL. Hopefully it will work itself out by tomorrow. Either that or it's bye bye firewall.

The Basics
I read a post on Xbox360Fanboy about the new GRAW2 game hitting stores in March and they mentioned a feature that it will have that not many other 360 games have had before it. An achievement tracker. That got me to thinking about other features that should be no-brainers when it comes to 360 games.

- The ability to save anywhere. Pretty much the anti-Dead Rising save system. Quake 4 and Crackdown have done this right.
- The aforementioned achievement tracker. I want to know how many kills I need to get that 10 points, dammit!
- Halo 2 matchmaking. I would play Gears of War day in and day out if it had decent matchmaking.
- Free themes and gamertiles. Have them be unlockable with the achievements so I can show how awesome I am with my gamertile. Is that too much to ask for my $60?
- More uses for the Vision Camera!

Queers of War
This is a bit disturbing. I would like to lay claim to the fact that I came up with the name Queers of War way before this on Gametalk.
